Tracy + Troy’s Classic Cleveland Wedding
Tracy + Troy’s classic Cleveland wedding was carefully planned and well thought out. They tied the knot on a sunny Saturday this past November. Prior to the wedding ceremony the couple along with their bridal party posed for pictures in various downtown Cleveland locations, including the Cleveland Art Museum.
They selected the breathtaking Bridge View room at Windows on the River in downtown Cleveland as their venue.This particular room overlooks many of Cleveland’s trademark bridges, which makes for an incredible view of the skyline. The room not only held the reception, but was used for their wedding ceremony site and made for a stunning backdrop.
The altar consisted of a gorgeous arch covered in greenery with hints of purple and white flowers. After the ceremony the venue staff reset the room for the dinner reception and placed the arch behind their beautiful head table.
The reception décor consisted of white linens dressed up with a gorgeous shade of royal purple napkins, chair sashes and small accents of silver. There were three different styles of floral centerpieces created by Avalon Gardens. One centerpiece was more simplistic using different size vases with floating candles, the second style was a smaller low sitting floral arrangement which included flowers varying from shades of purple to white with lovely additions of greenery, and the last arrangement was just as gorgeous in an elegant tall silver vase. Silver votive candles were placed strategically throughout the room to create a lovely glowing romantic feel.
After dinner, instead of a wedding cake, the bride and groom decided to go less traditional and have a gourmet doughnut table supplied by Brew Nuts! There were four flavors to choose from: glaze, strawberry sprinkle, pumpkin Oreo and maple bacon. This was a fun and exciting way to have dessert and differs from the more traditional cake route.
For entertainment they chose We Are The Radio as their band, which performed various covers of popular songs starting from the 1990’s and then led into the early 2000’s and so on. The band members and lead singer did an amazing job at keeping the crowd energetic and the dance floor filled the entire evening!
Knowing their guests would be hungry after dancing the night away,Tracy + Troy arranged for Swenson’s to cater their late night snack! Included were various types of burgers and sides which the guests could enjoy as well.
